@thelibrarycode @pascal Very sad to hear this! I for one will be missing your contributions to the global DSpace community. Hopefully things will work out for all of you!

I also hope that this doesn't have a negative effect on the future of the German DSpace community, including the national DSpace consortium and the annual DSpace Praxistreffen.

The DSpace community has released four new versions of the open-source repository platform. DSpace 10.0 is the first step in the merger of DSpace and DSpaceCRIS platforms, as it includes some of the features that have previously been only available in DSpaceCRIS.
