Distributed Power Plants #DPP not only save consumers hundreds of dollars but also displace dirty gas peaking power plants, with cleaner resources. In the case of Tesla's California Virtual Power Plant,, in July it could provide the equivalent energy of about 2 gas peakers.

California is adding ~400 #DPPs homes/month and is expanding into SDG&E territory. As of July, ~7,727 homes were enrolled and able to deliver 116 MWh for an hour.

Early adopters are saving hundreds of dollars!
