I'm 95% sure your mom is wrong about whatever she says is "your fault" - the other 5% is a mistake, and she should NEVER punish you for a mistake. Math: she's 99% wrong.
By the way, I'm still terrible at math in my 40's. We can use a calculator, and other people can shut up about learning math, because you wont need to memorize anything past the end of second grade. Which also means, Ms Remlinger is often wrong too.
