Cybernetic Medulla + Thalamus Architecture

Inspired by neuroscience and #DMT research:
- MEDULLA: Maintains the raw world model. Never passes raw data to the cortex.
Computes deltas each tick. Generates natural-language medulla reports.
This is the "self-model" — the agent's coherent sense of where it is and
what surrounds it. Without this, the cortex would drown in OpenSim packets.
- THALAMUS: Attention/routing. Decides what the cortex gets from memory.
Surfaced experiences are filtered by current drives. The thalamus decides
what is "salient enough" to wake the cortex. This is the DMT-like
zoom in/out — sometimes everything feels significant, sometimes the world
fades.
