CozyCon September 2023 DJ Application

Thank you for your interest in applying to perform an online DJ set for our CozyCon September Event! We would like to know a little more about yourself and what music you'll be playing, by filling the application below here. Please note the following: 👾 DJ application forms will close on Thursday, August 24, 11:59pm CDT, and applicants who have applied will be contacted by email on or before August 31st. Please check your spam folder if your email arrives there; we've had past issues with our emails appearing in people's spam folders. 🎮 CozyCon's event date will be on the third weekend of September (Sept. 15 - 17, dates are pending). 👾 Applicants who have been accepted will receive the CozyCon DJ role that will grant them access to use the private help channel on our Discord server to co-ordinate stream tests with VanillaSkunk. Please be sure to join ahead of time at https://discord.gg/HWY6VDM 🎮 Pre-Recorded and Audio-Only Streams are also welcomed, if you do not wish to perform live/live in VR, and a visualizer will be provided for those opting for an Audio-Only Stream. 👾 We ask that you provide a demonstration video or an mp3 audio of minimum 20 minutes and 4 songs in length. Previous sets for other conventions or other demos are accepted as well, provided that they are made within the past twelve (12) months. Please do not submit demos or past sets older than that. 🎮 This con's theme is Arcade. DJs are encouraged to play songs for their sets that are on-theme for CozyCon, though this is not required. The more, the merrier! 👾 CozyCon plans to broadcast all accepted DJs through Mixcloud, which includes video. If you are accepted and plan to perform live, you will receive the address to our RTMP server, and a stream key. You will not be streaming directly to Mixcloud. Help will be provided as needed, and we encourage setting up a time and date to test with the streaming team. Please note the platform may change as necessary, to comply with platform audio copyrights. 🎮 Please refer to Mixcloud's Community Guidelines for acceptable content. We expect all our DJs to follow their rules as well. 👾 Direct help from our staff is provided in our Discord server. DJs are expected to be present in the server so as to organize scheduling, testing, etc. 🎮 Please be sure to read our rules on the CozyCon FAQ on our website for the most up-to-date rules. 👾 Please ensure that you link to a social media account that is public. If we are unable to view your links provided, we are unable to perform our job, and privatized accounts will not be seen by our social media for post shares. 🎮 As a reminder, CozyCon will be operating in Central Daylight Time during the event.
