I have a lot I need, and nearly all of my accompanying staples ie, seasonings can goods my potatoes and onions which are a semi required filler are depleted, I never seem to be able to actually get caught up on keeping my supplies at a sustainable level;

I have a cart full of #food to eat but lack the $350 to buy it, I have a cart full of personal care, hygiene, and household supplies but lack the $200 to buy it, I have a cart full of clothing that I need but lack the $400 to buy it, not to mention the rest of what I need to deal with, it is sad really, that in one of the wealthiest times in human history and in one of the wealthiest nations on earth, that anyone would be struggling with #poverty and #disability, and do so with so very little support at all, it really is sad that I have to beg for help that I most certainly never actually receive in any capacity to actually resolve the gapping growing hole of needs;

It stands for "invisible disability". There's a lot of reasons why someone might be wearing a sunflower lanyard, but honestly, most of the time just being able to to sit down is the number one thing they need. An offer of a seat will never be inappropriate or unappreciated.

I think I’m officially giving up and admitting defeat with my moldy clothes. I’m losing my baseline so fast because my caregivers are spending all their time trying to salvage items that probably can’t be salvaged.

It’s almost my entire wardrobe.

The stress of thinking about how to replace it is also tough on my baseline… but I’ve got to tell myself mold is simply not worth the risk. Especially with severe MCAS.

This is another great example of the “crip tax”. If it weren’t for my disability, I wouldn’t need specific types of clothes. I would be able to soak and salvage them myself. I wouldn’t be restricted to only online shopping. I wouldn’t be on a fixed income.

This feels like a disaster, but it’s better than making myself sicker.
