Irish weather and road salt don't play well with floating caliper brakes. Totally smoked disc due to jammed up pads.

Factory fit discs and pads on a 2019 Tuscon with 53k miles on the clock. Very easy to replace with new pads and discs from local #napa

An ode to the humble #shitbox 🚗 -

I've only ever driven shitboxes.

My first car - a Ford Laser which would overheat on days higher than 35°C.

An indestructable Toyota Yaris which we took *everywhere* including some very dodgy off-roading.

An ancient Nissan Pulsar which tried to kill me when I swerved to avoid an echidna.

And now a Hyundai i30 which spent a couple of months just after I bought it on stands to replace the clutch.
