The meeting has been described by multiple sources as part of a regular series of engagements between #Pramono and #Chan, who is also responsible for managing the department’s diplomatic relationship with Indonesia.”

The US is literally Interrogating, Strip Searching, Forcing into Cold Showers, Illegally Detaining, putting into Cuffs & Detention Camps and "Disappearing" travelers now, and yet #DFAT here in Australia still says "Yeah it's fine, Travel advice for the US remains 'Green' and 'Safe'" ... WTAF?!!!
If #DFAT was serious about its travel advisory for the USA from now on.

Friend meets with #DFAT Australia's Dept of Foreign Affairs and Trade and asks for action against a smaller #Genocide occuring in S.E. Asia.
Public servant asks, "How will us taking action improve trade?".
With there being no prospects of improvements in trade forthcoming the meeting was terminated.
Been building for years.
Not only did the #honoraryconsulate in #Kampala #Uganda give me the wrong forms etc after I got mugged and I had to urgently get a new passport, but as a result I got overcharged. Now it's taking months to get a refund. Although this is also #Nairobi now. Absolutely hopeless. But you'd love to have their jobs.
