Today (Saturday) 10:00 to probably 14:00 UTC is the annual decentralized #draussenfunker Glühwein-#pota event in multiple parks all across Germany. Groups from the community meet up in parks for joint POTA activations, mulled wine, seasonal snacks and conversations.

In #Hamburg we are meeting in #DE0262 Hammer-Park.

If you ever want to experience a reverse pileup, try to reach us on 20m or 40m SSB. Other bands/modes depending on conditions and mood.

Am Ende des Jahres fand das traditionelle Glühwein-POTA statt.

Todays #POTA was once again #DE0262 Thörls Park with Trails E1 and E9 (#DE0558, #DE0622).
It was actually two activations, in the morning the first outing of my new FX-4CR and then in the afternoon a trainee session with a friend using the FT 891 and mic splitter (which really helps with training).

I not sure if this counts as having succeeded HC08 since they didn’t take the exam yet. @hamchallenge

Today was once again the #draussenfunker low-band activity day where a couple of groups went out into their local #pota parks to activate them on 160m and 80m.
In #DE0262 Hammer Park, we built up a half-wave dipol for 160m and used a tuner for 80m.
Activators in our park were @asciijungle, @jz, @DK4HAA, his trainee and I.

I had 13 QSOs on 160m and 8 on 80m, most of them were #p2p and some even to a 2-fer with multiple operators, so I have full activations on both bands.

Todays #POTA was the #draussenfunker Glühwein POTA (mulled wine POTA, we had alc free one) at #DE0262 Hammer Park.
Even with the rainy weather there were a total of about 25 operators. At the HF station we sometimes created a reverse pileup, where hunters got to work multiple operators one after another, at times up to 10. Thank you for the patience of all hunters we had contact with today!
I did a small #POTA bike rove today, activating a total of 5 references at 3 locations.
First #DE0261 Thörls Park with trails #DE0558 E1 and #DE0622 E9.
Then #DE0262 Hammer Park and followed by #DE0392 Horner Rennbahn.
Conditions were a bit wonky, but it was a success.
