ACB Board Member Chris Bell joined other panelists during today’s “Advocating at the State and Local Levels” session at the Legislative Seminar. Panelists shared their experiences with different forms of advocacy and offered insights on engaging at the state and local levels.

After a full day of presentations and discussion at the 2026 D.C. Leadership Conference, attendees participated in a “dine around” to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones!

Today’s schedule features the Legislative Seminar, where attendees will prepare for their meetings on Capitol Hill, followed by a trivia night social.

There were plenty of laughs and great conversations at last night’s welcome party for the 2026 D.C. Leadership Conference! Attendees heard updates from several ACB committees about their latest work and activities.

Attendees had a wonderful time visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. yesterday during the 2026 D.C. Leadership Conference! The museum opened to the public in 2016 as the 19th museum of the Smithsonian Institution and is located on the National Mall.
