I got very very high playing #ContentWarningGame with @embyr last night. I was attempting to emulate #Nappa from #DBZA. I couldn't keep the names straight but it was good silly fun.
This is perhaps one of the best explanations of what it's like to have tinnitus while listening to high pitched sounds.
Since the whistling in this video actually does hurt me to listen to, here's the dialog
#DragonBallZAbridged #DBZA #DragonBallZ #DBZ #Tinnitus
=====
Gohan: -whistling-
Slug: What tha?!
Slug: Oh my god...
Slug: Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!! Oh my god!!!
Slug: Ah! It's like one drill in one ear, and another drill in the other ear, and they're meeting in the middle!

Thank you Kaiser. Thank you.
Today, we lost one of the most influential names in anime. Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball, passed away today. I didn't exactly grow up with DBZ, but DBZA is my go-to comfort entertainment, and I have a soft spot for OG Dragon Ball. DBZ inspired a generation of anime fans, especially here in the USA.
You will be missed. Now go, mountain bird, and teach a dinosaur to ride a ball.
If I ever talk a lot about Dragon Ball, it's because I watch a lot of Team Four Star, who made Dragon Ball Z Abridged. They have a lot of my comfort content, and they're a bunch of nice people. They made a great video for pride month in which their queer members, one of whom is trans, talk about being queer content creators.
