🌀 Cyclone Vayu looks like it might take the more Southern track now towards Oman sort of direction instead of making landfall though it will be a close graze and the Eyewall may start affecting land (A direct hit, the strongest part of a storm crosses the coast but the eye doesn't, the eye cross is required for it to be considered a landfall).

It is currently a Category 2 Hurricane (SSHWS), or Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (IMD).

Those near the Pakistan-Indian boarder still should stay aware as this storm still looks like it will significantly impact the area.

In the Bay of Bengal there is a huge flare of convective Thunderstorms in the Northern BoB which looks like a developing monsoon low which may develop into a Tropical Depression and maybe even a new Tropical Cyclone.

The next name in the North Indian Ocean Tropical Cyclone Basin is 'Hikaa'.

The GFS model for Wind speed and Mean Sea Level Pressure on 🌀 Cyclone Vayu; Initialised 2019-06-12-0000UTC and runs for 78 hours (3 days and 6 hours).

Currently a Category 2 Hurricane (boardering on Cat 3 Major Hurricane) on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale and Very Severe Cyclonic Storm on the Indian Meteorological Department's Tropical Cyclone Scale.

Looking at this particular model run it appears it will make a double landfall weakening then quickly reintensifying for a second landfall.

It is currently a Category 1 Hurricane on the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Scale, and a Cyclonic Storm on the Indian Meteorological Department's Tropical Cyclone Scale.

You can see the cirrus clouds associated with the Central Dense Overcast and if you look carefully you can see quite subtle the eyewall and eye attempting to form properly.
