For my next vacation, I may switch my transportation mode from gravel bike-packing to train & #Brompton.

I did a test ride of the #PLine 2026 and the #TLine (I shouldn’t do it :-). Both was 4 speed, what isn't ideal for #brussels hills. I’m considering the 12 speed.

Riding the T Line is very smooth, but extremely expensive. The P Line may be a good compromise.

A lot of participants—the police estimate 3,850 people!!! Let’s assume a minimum of 4,000 for the organizers 😉

It was so crowded that I couldn't find the people I had met last time. The temperature was warm, but there was some wind, so it wasn’t too bad.

3 years ago, I did my “Petit Tour de France”.

Now, I have the opportunity to travel again for a long period on my bicycle.

This time will be more autonomous, but still in minimalist mode. Based on the heatwave, I’m thinking of starting in Northern Europe, but nothing is decided yet.

Any advice will be welcome. It will be my first fully autonomous adventure.
