Half of e-bike buyers drop out with mandatory helmet use

ZEIST, the Netherlands – A mandatory helmet use on e-bikes is a much discussed topic in the industry as it would have a major impact on e-bike sales. But, is that really the case? Bike Europe commissioned a survey in the Netherlands where most e-bikes are used for commuting and recreational purposes.

Oregon is flirting with creating an E-Bike rebate program joining VT & Denver CO, NY is also thinking about it. E-bike rebate programs are great to reduce traffic, clean the air & get citizens outdoors to exercise. It also provides transportation for a large group of people who might not have access to transportation, except public transit.
