We know #Nordjylland well and seeing as it is our first cycle tour in six years we wanted somewhere close to home and flat.

Offspring nr 2 has been through a couple of years of #cancer treatment in the intervening period and we really do not know what their stamina is like.

So somewhere flat is a good start for their first proper post treatment cycle tour.

Maybe it is time to re-plan our summer cycle tour Sweden instead or even #ostfriesland ?

Downloaded all the GPX files we might “need” for our #CycleTouring holiday.

For *years* we refused to ride with tracks, but we’re getting a bit lazy, although when in doubt we first grab the booklets and we do page through them while riding, because.

Yesterday we was slow. Faffing a bit. Rear sidewall failure and blow out at 155 k. Booted the tyre. Rode to bike shop. Tube and tyre replaced. Lucky that was just a 6 minute ride away.

Almost across the Neatherland yesterday. Into Germany this morning. Weather is looking and feeling a bit more warm and settled.

Loaded up & heading down to Red Wing, Minnesota for the start of the Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour. In years past, I’ve dressed more like a proper British gentleman cyclist, but def going more casual this year.

After the Lake Pepin Tour, I’ll extend it and do the Root River Trail system in southern Minnesota.
