Yes you can say it! Bike lights are more important than bike helmets. So are a lot of other things: 30 kph speed limits, bike paths, bike training, driver visibility out of truck cabs, etc

The new Dutch transport minister wants more cyclists to wear helmets. He also wants car drivers to go faster. This is terrible, but it also illustrates the agenda helmet promotors really have.

My comment? If wearing a helmet makes you feel better, that's great. But it almost certainly won't save your life if you are hit by a motor vehicle.
