If anyone has any idea why some #Curseforge #Minecraft #modpacks are not available in the @PrismLauncher, I'd very much like to know the reason.
Makes it much harder to keep a pack updated or prettyfied on the launch menu...
Most recent pack not available, and by not available I mean I can search and find the pack, but it shows as "No version is available!" on the drop-down menu, is Mr. Beardstone's Create Perfect World Post Production.
If anyone has any idea why this happens, I'm all ears.
Coming from programming language ecosystems where dependency management is a.. well.. solved problem, mostly, I'll say that managing mods for #minecraft is extremely annoying 😭
Even when using something like #CurseForge, where (if you're lucky) mod X will bring in mod Y if it needs to, the dependencies between a version of mod X and the corresponding valid version of mod Y seem to be nonexistent..
Did you know that you could put a #virtualmachine in a singleplayer #Minecraft world? It allows you to bypass app-related restrictions in your region if it allows you to run the game through #CurseForge

Sigh! So although my pack had been approved by the #Curseforge moderators I apparently hadn't actually set it to release so it wasn't appearing on the search and couldn't be installed by the app.
I've fixed that now and it's appearing on both and installable via website and app.

Sky Bloke Void Survival is available and, despite only being available for 45 mins it's got two dowloads already (and no, one wasn't me XD) I suspect that was the moderation team though !
