I would advise younger folks to respond to this by travelling in groups large enough to defend themselves from random patrolling cops. With enough pressure, this can be forced back to downtown "monument core" areas and kept out of neighborhoods.

In 2020 at the start of the Uprising, I made damned sure that I was NOT out of the city prior to the start of the all-ages curfews that first week of June. Not only that, I enjoyed a delightful night of post-action outdoor cruising while all the cops were busy at the White House on the last day of it.
