#Cuisinart has AWESOME #customerservice. I broke the work bowl cover on my ancient Cuisinart food processor, so I ordered a new one from their website. It fits, but in a weird way such that it doesn't operate the interlock mechanism, which prevents the motor from running if the cover isn't locked in place, unless I push down on the feed tube. So I called Customer Service. I got a human in two (2) keypad presses, which is pretty amazing right there. I described the problem to the guy, and he confirmed that I had the right part. He asked me how long I'd had my food processor, and I said probably about 40 years. He put me on hold for about two minutes, came back, and said no problem, we'll send you an entire new work bowl assembly, no charge, you'll have it in three days.
Oh, did I mention that I've had this thing for 40 years (at least; I don't remember exactly when I got it), and I use it all the time, and it still works flawlessly? Cuisinart FTW!
