FFS! Or, to put it more politely, this appears to be a miscarriage of justice.

IANAL, but IMHO, Linda Reynolds has weaponised our legal system and vindictively misused our (broken) Defamation laws against Brittany Higgins.

I believe Brittany Higgins when she said Linda Reynolds mishandled her rape allegation, and that the former Senator and Defence Minister harassed her and tried to silence her for speaking-up as a sexual assault victim.

I also believe Linda Reynolds has such a toxic personality and dire public reputation that it's hardly possible for anything Brittany Higgins has said to harm the reputation of Linda Reynolds. Linda Reynolds claiming she's the victim looks awfully like DARVO. It's clear that by siding with a rapist and attacking the victim, Linda Reynolds is a Crumb Maiden of the Patriarchy.

For a recap of things Linda Reynolds has done to ruin her own reputation independently of what Brittany Higgins said on social media, here are some facts established in court about her:
- Bruce Lehrmann raped Brittany Higgins in the office of Linda Reynolds. Yet, Linda Reynolds showed little care or responsibility as an employer toward her own staffers.
- Linda Reynolds was asked by Brittany Higgins for help and advice after being raped, but in response Linda Reynolds was unsympathetic and called Brittany Higgins a "lying cow".
- Linda Reynolds leaked documents to the media about Brittany Higgins that were marked "Confidential" and "Legal professional privilege."
- Lina Reynolds destroyed evidence, such as deleting text messages with Bruce Lehrmann’s former barrister, and removing the couch upon which Bruce Lehrmann raped Brittany Higgins from the crime scene before it could have a forensic investigation.
