@wendypalmer I know. And I *should* expect it because we all experience it who #Make things. If we were each 2 actually get paid for our work, we'd be millionaires! Unfortunately, most really *don't* know what goes into #Handmade work. So we, in turn, can't really expect those who don't do what we do, 2 understand. For example, I #CrossStitch, but I know nothing about #Woodworking or #Spinning or #Weaving. As a #Maker, I understand these take #Time, but I can't put the value on it others do (1)

Got to show off some of my #CrossStitch / #CrossQuilting / #CrossStitchQuilting work to a shop owner at the mall yesterday.

I was really flattered, but she said, "This is *beautiful*! You should sell these! How long did it take you to make?"

I agree. I have intelligence, but technobabble makes me feel like I'm stupid. I don't feel like I'm welcome to talk about any of it because I'm not part of the clique & they're speaking a foreign language I don't know. I truly wish I *did* know what they're talking about, but I also know I simply don't have talent for coding & things like that. I #CrossStitch (not to say cross stitchers can't be coders) & I tell funny stories about #TheKitty.

Morning folks.

Now that Halloween is out the way, Merry Christmas 😂 I'm joking, calm down, its not that serious.

I am diving straight into stitching this morning before I face the reality of the day. Some how, I don't think I will be ready for part two of this SAL coming out tomorrow, oh well. Plenty of stitchy days ahead of me it would seem.
