#London #CrossLink was a very useful railway service when I lived in #Brentford and wanted to get to #Camden . It was too far ahead of its time, the railways weren't geared up to allow third party services so it couldn't get many timetable slots and closed after a couple of years.

so, I'm trying to look myself up from other kind of instance (not Mastodon, but for example Pleroma).

I found that I can easily find Pleroma users on Mastodon, but unfortunately vice versa it not works.

Pleroma uses werid linking, creates hashes from identity and is not compliant with Mastodons @username@domain format. I was also not able to find myself using search tool (so it doesn't search globally).

Mastodon works much better in this aspect, allowing you to crawl whole Fediverse and read profiles on other platforms.

Do you know other platforms compatibile with Mastodon?
