It's official, I'm back to making videos! But I'm also rusty and it's taking longer than expected, so plans to publish today didn't work out. At least I'm back on the horse 🤷‍♀️

On the bright side I did need to finally take photos of this #CroppedBoatneckSweater that was finished a very long time ago, has been worn, has even visited Norway, and as you can tell from the crumples has reached the stage of "this is just a normal jumper that lives in my jumper pile"

So a very belated #FOFriday feature, for a project that was a really nice knit and didn't deserve to wait so long.

In last night's video I talked about the recent epiphany that I tend to put projects down and procrastinate picking them back up again whenever I reach a sort of transition point.

Sure enough, I'd finished the front panel of this jumper over the weekend and then just put it down and didn't cast on the back panel and worked on other things instead.

Now I recognise these warning signs and what's behind it. So last night I forced myself to start on the back, and of course it was no big deal at all and I don't know why my brain does this to me 😅

Yay for pushing past it, though!

Casting on two (at least mostly) plain stockinette projects in two very dark colours was not my plan for this week at all, but sometimes you just go where life takes you.

Navy blue is going to be a #CroppedBoatneckSweater to throw on over long dresses.

The endless black void that will soon become impossible to photograph is a #DummyClapShawl, part of an accidental two-person knitalong with @maru_1 as our much easier take on #ClapotisFest 😁

Feel free to join us!

The stitches are adding up really fast for my Habitica stitch count challenge, and I'm actually quite enjoying the mindlessness of both, but ask me again after another week...
