A Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) spotted at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore on 27 Dec 2024. A common sight at the reserve and gets the kids (and adults) all excited when they see one.

At the start of our walk, we sighted one of the more famous inhabitants of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore: Tailless, a Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) with a missing tail. Spotted on 26 May 2024.

Tailless is one of the bigger and older crocodiles in the Reserve. The lost of its tail doesn't seem to hinder it too much.

Today's random photo from the #travel archive for #TravelTuesday is a pair of caimans (I think) from the Universeum science building in Gothenburg, Sweden. We're fond of science, zoos, and aquariums so we were drawn to this impressive place in the city. A good place for those with children, based on just how many of the noisy buggers were there, but we enjoyed it too.
