Throughout the #SalishSea - thousands of #derelict #CrabPots still collect #DungenessCrabs , leaving the creatures #trapped & reducing the harvest.
#NorthwestStraitsFoundation is getting ready for upcoming #fieldwork to address the issue.
The #nonprofit is in the second year of a program to find & remove derelict crab pots.
