Cowichan Valley's controversial bylaw updates may be put on pause
After two weeks of public outcry, the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) board of directors will vote on whether to take a pause on a proposed bylaw consolidation that has some residents in rural communities up in arms.

Figured I should add our retail store here in #Chemainus to my profile which I just did. Here is our about page for the shop that along with my wife we have operated here in #CowichanValley for the last 11 years. We work hard to give the residents a local option for clothing and footwear without having to leave town or head to one of the big faceless online corporate outlets.

A #throwbackthursday to this wonderful hike on Maple Mountain in the #cowichanValley almost 10 years ago with friends. It was a perfect spring day and the vibrancy of the green moss on the coastal slopes of the mountain was magical.

Mindful Explorer
@Oaktag just told me about #mosstodon as a good source of outdoor images to check out here on Mastadon. The only appropriate thing to do would be to post one of my favourite photos I took here in the #cowichanValley of what one thinks of when you think of rain season on the #westcoast of #britishcolumbia on #vancouverIsland
