Pushed super hard and set some great times on the ascent and descent on Maple Mountain yesterday during my #mountainbike ride. Also it was a beautiful day and I had great views from the summit across Maple Bay, Cowichan Bay and even as far as Saanich Inlet in the distance. Beautiful day to #getoutside in the #cowichanvalley

Went for a ride on Maple Mountain Thursday afternoon to help take down flag tape. 850 #mountainbike racers from over 30 countries just finished their stay in #NorthCowichan participating in the #BCBikeRace . This makes me super happy as we get to show off our world class #mtb trails in the #CowichanValley here on #VancouverIsland . I'm also proud of the small part I have had on making our region a riding destination as a past director with the local trail org & now as muni councillor.
