FLOSS Stammtisch

The [Free Software Stammtisch](https://www.LuftHans.com/Free_Software_Stammtisch) is a social environment for GNU, Linux, *BSD and other Free Software enthusiasts. We start at 19:00 Arizona time (02:00 UTC). Feel free to invite friends and family to participate. There are quarterly ( Januaries, Aprils, Julys and Octobers ) [jobs night](https://gettogether.community/series/30/floss-jobs-networking-event/) events before Stammtisch starting at 18:00. Getting to know others ( networking ) has always been part of Stammtisch ( the conference hallway track without the conference ). The [jobs night](https://gettogether.community/series/30/floss-jobs-networking-event/) events came about due for requests for a more directed approach to job networking from both hiring employers and those seeking new jobs. It was therefore natural to create standalone events that merge into Stammtisch. Januaries and Julys have resume events while Aprils and Octobers have jobs networking events. The Free Software Stammtisch will be a virtual event at least through the end of Summer 2020. Currently we're using a hosted Big Blue Button instance. See meeting comments for connection details. We are using PLUG's draft code of conduct https://pad.sfconservancy.org/p/PLUG_CoC_draft

NANOG 79

NANOG is the professional association for Internet engineering, architecture and operations.

What Free Software project/tool have you started using to help with the COVID-19 shut in?

For me, it's been #BigBlueButton with #Greenlight and #NextCloud , the former for video calls, the latter to increase access for some personal and volunteer projects

Both are hosted instances, so thanks to Big Blue Meeting and Your Own Net for offering affordable services

Even more thanks to the people behind the projects for making useful software!
