Here’s the latest hazard index from the academic-led team at Covid-19 Resources Canada, based on federal wastewater data. This is the forecast from March 28th to April 10th.

COVID rates are still high across Canada (~1 in every 84 people is infected), and high in BC (~1 in 175). As always, COVID continues to mutate and spread through communities. Spring vaccines are becoming available but in limited supply; call the vaccine line (1-833-838-2323) to book an appointment.

Stay safe: ventilate, vaccinate, educate, mitigate. And head to https://linktr.ee/donoharmbc to sign up to present at the next BC budget meeting by April 10th to get a chance to speak directly to policy-makers about all things clean air, masks, tests, and vaccines.

This week's Pandemics in BC blog posts:

This week I had only one article about COVID-19 which I thought was interesting enough to include in the General blog. There *was* some interesting stuff for non-COVID pathogens, however.
