at home in my headNow and then I have expressed some skepticism about why the Covenant School Shooter's writings were never released. To this day, they have not been officially made public. But one journal's worth was given to the Tennessee Star. It's 90 pages, and I'm on page 68. I honestly don't know why anyone cared if these writings were released.
CAUTION: It is not something I would suggest anyone read if they struggle with self-harm issues. Every page is a risk.
That being said, I'm including the link, but I can't honestly say there's a lot of value to be found in these writings. Hale was just a person hurting badly who decided to direct that pain to destruction of other people's lives.
