$29M universal water metering project approved in Courtenay, B.C.

The City of Courtenay on Vancouver Island has decided to switch all homes to water meters. City councillors agreed to the change at a meeting this week. As the CBC's Maryse Zeidler reports, experts say making residents pay for water per use instead of a flat fee is the best way to reduce water consumption.
