I finally finished my TV build: I added an RTX 2080 to a MINISFORUM AI X1-255 over OCuLink. I expected it to perform much worse on just 4 PCIe lanes, but it’s doing surprisingly well. I’d say the setup is ready for couch gaming now.
The only downside: the GPU fans spin at 100% when the PC is turned off.
Now I have a beefy 8 core CPU, 64 gigs of ram, 16 of which are allocated to iGPU, and an 8gb gaming card with 20gb of shared memory in one package. Blessed to have gotten most of the hardware before prices spiked.

Vor genau 3 Jahren hat #Stadia dicht gemacht - und mittlerweile weine ich nicht mehr hinterher: Mag-Stick Gamepad via Kabel, 4k, VRR, HDR, DLSS, in der Regel alle großen Titel - und das auf ner 4k€ Grafikkarte ist schon ganz nice.

I might have to admit to myself that #couchgaming doesn't work for me, I just get too comfortable and start to doze every time I sit in my recliner and log on to #ffxiv.
