A STARFARING COZY MYSTERY combines echoes of Golden Age detective fiction, queer sensibility, a touch of screwball comedy, and a far-future generation ship on its way to settle New Earth. Lots of fun, some sharp insights about tech and ethics. B PLUS

Anthony Horowitz has done it AGAIN. A Deadly Episode (#HawthornAndHorowitz #6) is a 5-star, meta mystery set on a film set — where Hawthorne investigates his OWN murder. Layered, brilliant, and completely unputdownable. My full review is up on Views She Writes. 🎧📚 #CosyMystery #BookReview #Anthony

Richard Osman broke me. 💔 The Last Devil to Die isn't just the best Thursday Murder Club book — it's a gut-punch wrapped in wit, smugglers, and the most devastating love story I've read in years. I'm still not okay. Full review on the blog. #ThursdayMurderClub #CosyMystery #BookReview #RichardOsman

I spent two years telling everyone Thursday Murder Club was overrated. I volunteered to MODERATE book club to avoid having opinions about it. And then I read Book 2. Richard Osman took his revenge. Regency England. A murder mid-minuet. A heroine who'd rather solve crimes than catch a husband. 🎧 I listened to A Most Agreeable Murder by Julia Seales — and the killer reveal actually got me. Full review + book recs are up now on Views She Writes! #BookReview #CosyMystery #HistoricalFiction #Book

My reading week isn't this book, it's the third in this trilogy by Annie Eileen Rogers, Farewell to Heythwaite but... the series starts with Four Seasons of Heythwaite. If you want a Yorkshire saga with a touch of cosy mystery, here's a place to start.

She's broke, she's dramatic, she's solving a murder in a small Pacific Northwest town — and she didn't even ask to. 🎭🔪 Miranda Abbott is the messy, magnificent protagonist I didn't know I needed. I Only Read Murder is cozy mystery gold. Full review up now! #CosyMystery #BookReview #AudiobookReview
