This plan is a scandal.

The government is essentially planning to do away with social housing.

They plan to do this when there's already record homeless, after they've scrapped RPZs, and would drive huge amounts of people deeper into poverty and homelessness.

We have to build a movement against this right-wing government.
We need a State Construction Company to cut out the profiteering and build housing en-masse.
We need universal access to social housing.

R to @paulmurphy_TD: It's corporate capture of our government.

We need to fight for a left government that will take on the interests of those who profit from people's housing misery, instead of this government that represents those who profit from it.

This is corporate capture of our government.

This 'shed-sit' policy is taken directly from the Collison billionaire-backed 'Progress Ireland' think tank.

Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, and their Lowry Lackies wants to create a second tier of renter - where they have no access to the RTB, can be evicted without notice, and where they are not entitled to even basic privacy from their landlord...

Why is government afraid to admit their 'shed-sit' policy is taken directly from the Collison billionaire-backed 'Progress Ireland' think tank?

This is corporate capture of our government.

Billionaires shouldn't exist.

They have events like the World Economic Forum where they can transmit their policy interests to governments like that of Fianna Fáil & Fine Gael, who dutifully implement them.

People simply cannot afford to pay.

They also cannot afford a government that represents the interests of those who get rich from the crises ordinary people face.

We need price caps on essentials like fuel and energy to stop profiteering, and then need to re-nationalise our energy! It's too important to be at the whims of private multinationals.

#CostOfLivingCrisis #CostOfGreed

War is a racket.

This government refused to take meaningful actions for the last 5 years to stop the price gouging and profiteering from private companies, and it seems they're not planning to start now.

We should have price controls for essentials like energy and heating. We can already see the price gouging as a result of the US-Israel war in the middle east.

We have to stop this greedflation.

The government plans to pass their 'rip-off rent bill' today, called the 'Residential Tenancies Bill'.

The purpose of the bill is to make rents even higher, in order to "attract investment".

Another landlord bill from a landlord government.

Join the protest against this bill outside the Dáil today at 5.30pm.

We can't wait until the next general election....

By then, we're on track to have well over 20,000 people in emergency accommodation.

We have to get organised NOW against this government on the housing crisis!

We need to reinstate the eviction ban, use the tens of thousands of vacant properties, and build social and affordable housing en-masse!

#HousingCrisis #CostOfGreed

The Irish government are blatantly going to make us liable for fines as high as €28 billion.

We know it'll be ordinary people that are made foot the bill.

Meanwhile, Big Tech continues to use more and more of our energy, while household energy bills continue to balloon!
