StavrosFound an old note book where I wrote thoughts about certain books I was reading. Some of these were summaries, some direct quotes.
The screenshot below is of some stuff in my hand writing that I wrote while reading Joseph Chilton Pearce's book "The Crack in the Cosmic Egg".
It's an interesting juxtapositioning of Carlos Castaneda's ideas with an interesting understanding of Jesus's way.
Pearce came to Australia & I went to one of his talks. I was struck by how little 'vitality' or 'energy' the man had. It's almost as if he was just an academic theorist about these most profound ideas & that the ideas he was presenting hadn't touched the core of his being. I know this sounds crappy but he came across as an armchair mystic / shaman.
Maybe it was me. Maybe my expectations were delusions & I didn't have the ability to see him. Or maybe I was aware that the Emperor was naked?
