Not sure what to think about it. Digital sovereignty is clearly a great problem we face nowadays. Also the "world without people" dystopia is a reality. And it addresses different levers than the https://di.day/ initiative (namely state and eu laws, business cases, crazy authoritarians).

First question: What s the goal?
Stop enshitification, get digital sovereinity. That s something everyone should be able to agree on.

Second: How to achieve it?
Getting rid of Anticircumvention / allowing jailbreaking / breaking monopolies by legalizing hacking and building business models around it. That s where I see problems. Security and misuse wise. Destroying several business models (although rigthfully so: subscription based car features, silo data bases like SAP, the incredible medical company he addresses).

There is more to it. I don't know. 😣
