I have this theory that, when you photograph groups or crowds of people in public spaces, nobody even notices you. Except that there is always one - and only one - person, who intently watches the photographer.
This is also true when photographing sheep, it seems. Observe the sheep on the left, half hiding behind some growth (probably tall nettles).
This photograph from Corsham, Wiltshire, England.

My very first #painting of the year. I live close to #Corsham where the #peacock roams freeley. I’ve never painted a peacock before and painting on slate was an experience. All my bright bold colours I played down several times just sank in to the slate. #peacockart #art #artistsonmastodon

Opening this week in #Corsham - wish me luck! 🤞
I followed the path of the Byde Mill Brook this morning through #Corsham in #wiltshire.
.
I recorded my journey with #walkingpages and looked/listened for clues as to where this little river flowed - https://queerriver.com/2023/05/09/following-the-path-of-the-byde-mill-brook/
.
I’ll be following a similar route on a Creative River Walk I’m leading for Pound Arts in August in connection with my exhibition #DrawingOnWater2023

Following the Path of the Byde Mill Brook

Queer River

Imagine walking through all the accredited Walkers are Welcome Towns in the South West via Slow Ways? It's possible and I like the look of the trek across the Mendips from Cheddar to Keynsham.
