We had a silent auction at our Christmas party at the museum.
Since I'm trying to downsize, I told myself I wouldn't buy anything.
No more books, art or clothing etc.
Then I saw these.
I'm a sucker for old (read "quality made") cookware and to make it worse it was EXACTLY what I've been looking for in all the thrift stores in my area.
I got them both for just $25.
I'm happy just thinking of all the nice dishes to come!π
NB: Baking dish is a vintage #Corningware French White #pyroceram F-5B 1.6 L #soufflΓ© dish. It's a lot of food.
* I'm not vegan, but this recipe just happens to be. Don't follow me expecting scads of vegan recipes. I sometimes do vegan recipes, if the ingredients just happen to be from plants, because I do have vegan friends, and respect their personal choices. It's no skin off my back to make recipes for them, once in awhile, but I won't compromise a recipe just to make it vegan or vegetarian.
Canβt wait to show this vintage Corningware slap to my 80 year old mother.
Did I buy it all? No. Did I want to? ......yes. So bad.
