It started with a blast, and continued with three impressive days: The 2nd Conference on Research Data Infrastructure (#CoRDI2025) is over.
Sticking to my mind:
▶️ Keynotes and presentations on data infrastructures, and the people behind it
▶️ Exchange with researchers, teachers and data stewards on data literacy and #RDM trainings
▶️ Conference party with BBQ, guided hall tours, photobox, and more
▶️ An amazing collaboration between #wzl of #RWTHAachen, @nfdi4ing and @NFDI

Unsere Kollegin @JuliaaNbr hat SODa in Aachen vertreten & unseren Semantic Co-Working Space (SCS) im Rahmen der Postersession vorgestellt: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.16736208
Der SCS soll Mitarbeitende in wissenschaftlichen Universitätssammlungen im #Forschungsdatenmanagement unterstützen.
Fehlende Infrastruktur ist ein Problem in vielen Disziplinen. Umso mehr wurde das Angebot mit großem Interesse betrachtet.

Yesterday we closed the chapter of #CoRDI2025 in Aachen – and the final day was full of highlights.
For our team, a special moment was the talk by Volker Hofmann on the Helmholtz Knowledge Graph – towards a Helmholtz FAIR data space, which triggered lively Exchange with the community.
A heartfelt thank you to the organizers of CoRDI for bringing together such a vibrant community and creating space for exchange. We’re heading home with lots of ideas and new connections!
Perfect start of #UC4B2025, co-located with #CoRDI2025 at #RWTHAachen: An insightful panel discussion with renowned international experts Carole Goble, Hilary Hanahoe, Rosie Hicks, and Mark van de Sanden, moderated by Sonja Schimmler (@sonjas0815) and Raphael Ritz about the question “How to build sustainable infrastructures - lessons learned and future perspectives”. And to round it up - a beautiful rainbow 🌈 ! I am pumped for day 2.
After three days of exciting presentations and discussions, the #CoRDI2025 is slowly coming to an end. We are very happy to have such a committed community. ❤️
