L'Allemagne veut criminaliser les bloqueurs de pub

Le tribunal fédéral allemand (BGH pour les intimes) vient de relancer une bataille juridique vieille de 11 ans entre le géant des médias Axel Springer et Eyeo, les créateurs d’Adblock Plus. En effet, selon The Register, le BGH estime que les bloqueurs de pub pourraient violer le droit d’auteur en modifiant le code des pages web. Et oui, modifier l’affichage d’une page web sur VOTRE propre navigateur pourrait devenir illégal ! L’argument d’Axel Springer c’est que le code HTML et CSS de leurs sites web est protégé par le copyright, donc le modifier (même localement sur votre machine) constituerait une violation. C’est un peu comme si IKEA vous poursuivait parce que vous n’avez pas monté leur étagère Billy exactement selon les instructions. Ou que Renault vous attaquait parce que vous avez mis des housses de siège non officielles.

HOARDER project (https://github.com/hoarder-app/hoarder) recieved a Cease and desist from a company behind HORDR mobile app, due to "copyright infringement".

Hordr claimed, that Hoarder stole their name, even tho at the time of sending CaD they didn't even release the app.

Yeah... Yeah... I just can't...
