Italian News by RSSAgi: La Procura: "Rocchi scelse arbitri graditi all'Inter". E spunta anche un caso Var
AGI - Gianluca Rocchi nell’inchiesta della Procura di Milano è accusato di concorso in frode sportiva per avere scelto arbitri graditi all’Inter in alcune partite. Sono tre i capi d’imputazione nell’avviso di garanzia visionato dall’AGI.
"Rocchi e l'arbitro gradito all'Inter"
In uno si legge che Rocchi “quale designatore arbitrale dell’AIA, in concorso con più persone presso lo stadio San Siro, durante la gara di Coppa Italia ‘combinava’ la designazione del direttore di gara per la partita di campionato di serie A Bologna-Inter (20 aprile 2025) nella persona di Andrea Colombo, siccome ‘arbitro’ gradito alla squadra ospite, l’Inter, impegnata nella lotta alla corsa scudetto, ormai alle battute finali della stagione calcistica”.
Il secondo capo di imputazione per Rocchi
Nel secondo capo d’imputazione lo scenario si allarga. Rocchi, scrive il pm, “quale designatore in concorso con più persone presso lo stadio San Siro, durante la gara di andata di Coppa Italia (2 aprile 2025), ‘combinava’ o ‘schermava’ la designazione del direttore di gara Daniele Doveri, ponendolo alla direzione della semifinale del torneo (23 aprile 2025) onde assicurare poi all’Inter direzioni di gara diverse dal ‘poco gradito’ Doveri per la eventuale successiva finale di Coppa Italia e per il resto delle partite del campionato di serie A” che erano di “maggiore interesse per la squadra milanese”.
Il caso Var
Infine, il terzo capo d’imputazione è riferito a Udinese-Parma dell’uno marzo 2025 quando “in qualità di supervisore Var, in concorso con altre persone, durante lo svolgimento della partita condizionava l’addetto Var Daniele Paterna inducendolo all'On Field Review il direttore di gara Fabio Maresca ai fini dell’assegnazione del calcio di rigore a favore della squadra friulana, sebbene Paterna fosse di diverso avviso”.

AGI - Gianluca Rocchi is accused in the Milan Prosecutor’s investigation of conspiring to commit sports fraud for having chosen referees favored by Inter in some matches. There are three charges in the indictment reviewed by AGI.

One reads that Rocchi “as an arbitration designer for the AIA, in conspiracy with multiple people at the San Siro stadium, during the Coppa Italia match ‘combined’ the appointment of the referee for the Serie A championship match between Bologna-Inter (April 20, 2025) in the person of Andrea Colombo, as an ‘arbitrator’ favored by the home team, Inter, engaged in the race for the Scudetto, now in the final stages of the football season.”
The second charge for Rocchi
In the second charge the scenario expands. The prosecutor writes that Rocchi “as a designer in conspiracy with multiple people at the San Siro stadium, during the first leg of the Coppa Italia (April 2, 2025), ‘manipulated’ or ‘screened’ the appointment of referee Daniele Doveri, placing him in charge of the semi-final of the tournament (April 23, 2025) in order to then ensure that Inter had refereeing assignments different from the ‘unfavored’ Doveri for the eventual final of the Coppa Italia and for the rest of the Serie A championship matches which were of “greater interest” to the Milanese team.”
The VAR Case
Finally, the third charge relates to Udinese-Parma on March 1, 2025 when “as a VAR supervisor, in conspiracy with other people, during the conduct of the match, he influenced the VAR operator Daniele Paterna inducing him to the On Field Review of referee Fabio Maresca in order to assign the penalty kick in favor of the Friulian team, although Paterna was of a different opinion.”
