Everything is signed, we say goodbye to 2 of my team before xmas who chose not to renew theirs. They will be missed.

We've been unable to recruit replacements yet, and I get the feeling that they're dragging their heels and will turn around and say it's not needed or they can't afford it... or will hire useless people because they can pay less and lack the experience. Meaning we lose time training them 5x as much.

If you recall a week or so ago we had a clause inserted into the draft contract renewal that required 3 days a week in the office.

My entire team said 'remove or we all quit' because they promised not to do this, as they approved people moving hundreds of miles away as WFH for years now (before covid).

Turns out, the arsehole who caused issues demanded it was inserted and has yet again had to be dealt with.

Rumours abound that he's been asked to resign.
