D'après une photo dont la légende (la plus probable) est : Famille écoutant un discours de Winston Churchill, 19 mai 1945. Je n'ai appris cette légende qu'après avoir réalisé la peinture mais si je l'avais eue en tête avant, le résultat aurait-il été différent ? (non ce n'est pas un sujet du bac philo)...

A surface of pebbles sealed in concrete, partially covered by a cymbalaria (also called Mother of thousand).

Such urban installations are common in renovated spaces; they aim to make the location uncomfortable, preventing anyone (be it a passerby, a homeless person, or a group of young people) from sitting or lying down.

These structures are always designed to blend in as decorative elements of the place where they are installed, often using picturesque aesthetics and vegetation.

This is a recent reworking of a painting from a few years ago.
It's now more enigmatic, higher in contrast, and built on a reduced palette with color effects inspired by JPEG artifacts.
