Disposable daypacks create a false economy. A $30 bag replaced annually costs $300 over a decade plus logistics waste. A $150 pack with proper material engineering (ripstop + TPU laminate + quality zippers) lasts 15+ years, totaling ~$10/yr and one-tenth the landfill footprint. Durability is the cheapest option.
