A U.S. border patrol agent in #NewYork was arrested for ordering #women to show him their breasts and claiming that it was part of his officials duties, authorities said.
#Border agent #ShaneMillan, 53, was arrested Thursday on charges that he deprived four women of their #ConstitutionalRight to be free from #UnreasonableSearches, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of New York said in a news release.

フランス議会は主要な政党がすべて賛成し、780－72票の圧倒的多数で、女性が人工妊娠中絶を選ぶ権利を憲法に追加する法案を可決した。フランスでは1975年に人工妊娠中絶が合法化されている。フランスは旧ユーゴスラビアの1974年、2006年の（出産に関するセン選択の権利を認めた）セルビアに次いで、憲法上の権利ととして規定する国となった。米国連邦最高裁は2022年に女性の人工妊娠中絶の権利を剝奪する判決を下した。また、ポーランドでも近年中絶の制限が拡大されている。それらの動きがフランスが今回憲法修正の発端となった。

専門家は、「フランスにおいて中絶の権利は多数（最近の世論調査でも80％超）に支持されているが、アメリカのように極右勢力が拡大する可能性もある。憲法上で権利と明記することにより、将来反対派がこの権利を取り上げることを難しくする」とその意義を説明する。
