LA NOTIZIA: Crans-Montana, l’ospedale di Sion chiede all’Italia di pagare le spese dei ricoveri ma Roma si rifiuta
L’ospedale svizzero chiede i soldi per il ricovero di tre italiani rimasti feriti nel rogo di Crans-Montana e l’Italia si rifiuta di pagare. Si va così allo scontro, non il primo dopo l’incendio di Capodanno. Uno scontro che arriva pochi giorni dopo quello sulle fatture inviate (ma da non pagare) dagli ospedali svizzeri alle famiglie dei feriti italiani.
La mutua svizzera chiederà quindi all’Italia un rimborso pari a 100mila franchi, ovvero circa 108mila euro. Soldi che dovrebbero coprire, secondo l’ospedale svizzero di Sion, le spese sanitarie per il breve ricovero di tre ragazzi italiani feriti nel rogo del Constellation di Capodanno a Crans-Montana.
La richiesta è emersa durante l’incontro tra l’ambasciatore italiano, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, e il presidente del Cantone del Vallese, Mathias Reynard. Quest’ultimo spiega che non ha altra possibilità dal punto di vista normativo e non può farsi carico delle spese.

L’ambasciatore ha annunciato che l’Italia “non pagherà le spese sanitarie per i feriti di Crans-Montana”. D’altronde, sottolinea, “il nostro Paese si è fatto carico per settimane della cura di due cittadini svizzeri all’ospedale Niguarda di Milano e la protezione civile della Valle d’Aosta ha partecipato ai soccorsi con un proprio elicottero nelle prime ore della tragedia. C’è un principio di reciprocità che va rispettato”
“Lo Stato italiano – prosegue l’ambasciatore – non si accollerà mai le spese per le cure prodigate per sole poche ore ai nostri ragazzi che sono rimasti intossicati o ustionati e che hanno sofferto e sono condannati a soffrire a causa dell’irresponsabilità dei gestori del locale e delle autorità”.
Anche il ministro degli Esteri, Antonio Tajani, ha ribadito la linea del governo italiano: “Mi pare che sia ovvio che non paghiamo”. Per il ministro “la responsabilità è solo di chi gestiva quel locale e di chi non ha fatto fare i controlli, non c’è alcuna responsabilità italiana”.

The Swiss hospital is demanding payment for the care of three Italians injured in the Crans-Montana fire, and Italy refuses to pay. This leads to a confrontation, not the first after the New Year’s Eve fire. A confrontation that arrives just a few days after the one over invoices sent (but not to be paid) by Swiss hospitals to the families of the injured Italians.
The Swiss mutual insurance company will therefore ask Italy for reimbursement of 100,000 Swiss francs, or approximately 108,000 euros. Money that should cover, according to the Swiss hospital of Sion, the healthcare costs for the short stay of three Italian boys injured in the Constellation fire in Crans-Montana.
The request emerged during the meeting between the Italian ambassador, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, and the president of the Valais canton, Mathias Reynard. The latter explains that he has no other legal possibility and cannot take on the costs.

There is a principle of reciprocity that must be respected.”
“The Italian State – continues the ambassador – will never assume the costs of care given for just a few hours to our boys who were poisoned or burned and who have suffered and are condemned to suffer due to the irresponsibility of the venue operators and the authorities.”
Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has also reiterated the line of the Italian government: “It seems obvious that we don’t pay.” For the minister, “the responsibility is only of those who managed that venue and of those who didn’t make the checks; there is no Italian responsibility.”

La Svizzera è decisa a presentare il conto, che resterà inevaso. La mutua elvetica chiederà all'Italia il rimborso di 100 mila franchi per le spese sanitarie sostenute dall'ospedale di Sion per le cure e il breve ricovero di tre giovani italiani rimasti feriti nell'incendio del locale Constellation a Crans-Montana, in cui sono morti 41 ragazzi. L'ostinazione della Svizzera emerge dall'incontro tra l'ambasciatore italiano a Berna, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, e il presidente del Cantone del Vallese, Mathias Reynard. L'amministratore svizzero ha riferito di non avere sponde legali per farsi carico della cifra, pari a circa 108 mila euro.
"Il nostro Paese si è fatto carico per settimane della cura di due cittadini svizzeri all'Ospedale Niguarda di Milano e la protezione civile della Valle d'Aosta ha partecipato ai soccorsi con un proprio elicottero nelle prime ore della tragedia: c'è un principio di reciprocità che va rispettato", ha osservato l'ambasciatore Cornado.
Reynard ha confermato, durante l'incontro a Berna: "Non abbiamo margini dal punto di vista normativo per farci carico di queste spese". La gestione, ha detto, seguirà la procedura prevista dal sistema svizzero attraverso l'istituzione comune LAMal, l'assicurazione sanitaria. Lo riporta il Corriere del Ticino. Secondo quanto riferito, sarà infatti la LAMal a stabilire "quale assicurazione si fa carico di quale prestazione", con il coinvolgimento delle controparti assicurative italiane. La Svizzera non procederà quindi a un rimborso diretto delle fatture, mentre eventuali residui potranno essere coperti solo in via residuale a livello cantonale. "Salvo quelle residuali, non ci sono possibilità di intervento diretto", avrebbe precisato Reynard, che ha comunque indicato la necessità di un coordinamento con Berna per una possibile soluzione bilaterale, nel rispetto del principio di reciprocità con il Cantone del Valais. Ma come detto, l'Italia non intende pagare.

The Swiss administrator stated that he had no legal support to take on the amount, which amounts to approximately 108,000 euros.

Reynard confirmed during the meeting in Bern: “We have no margins from a regulatory point of view to take on these expenses.” He said that the management will follow the procedure provided for by the Swiss system through the common institution LAMal, the health insurance. This is reported by Corriere del Ticino. According to reports, it will be LAMal that will establish “which insurance company takes on which service,” with the involvement of the Italian insurance companies. Switzerland will therefore not proceed with a direct reimbursement of invoices, while any remaining balances may only be covered in a residual manner at the cantonal level. “Unless these residual amounts, there are no possibilities of direct intervention,” Reynard clarified, who nevertheless indicated the need for coordination with Bern for a possible bilateral solution, in respect of the principle of reciprocity with the Canton of Valais. But as stated, Italy does not intend to pay.
