The #Trump administration is siding with a #Louisiana #SchoolDistrict that says it should be released from decades-old #desegregation orders that some advocates say are still needed to address racial disparities.
In a motion filed Friday, the DOJ & the #ConcordiaParish #SchoolBoard agreed to dismiss a 1960s case that required the small district to integrate its #PublicSchools. Court orders have remained in place to address lingering impacts of #segregation.
