Ok then. I'm #newhere quite a while now, but I didn't post very much, since this is supposed to be my #gaming, #linux and #computernerd account. So, let's do a little #introduction:
The first computer I touched was the TI/99-4A of my older brother, who forced me to type in random games from the accompanying magazine. Later we got a PC. I learned English by playing SpaceQuest and alike, played #Doom via landline against friends and carried my #CRT by bike to our #LAN parties. The rest is history... 😃 as is the #BBS we once ran. 🥲

Nowadays I have an ASUS Z13 with #Gentoo #Linux installed and @lutris I love #Gentoo. 🥰 And I bought a #PS5 controller that I use for some #games. I do dualboot to Windows just for #Fortnite, as I am kind of addicted to the first-person-battle-by-building-stuff-realtime-thing which I haven't found anywhere else. Recommendations? But I am generally more into #IndieGames, #Adventures (see my avatar?), #RetroGaming and that stuff where you build infrastructure and gather resources, but I always lose there, cause I constantly redesign for esthetics 😆 I prefer #LowPoly over #Pixelart though, but it depends, I guess.

I started #coding and designing own games loooong ago but never seen it through.

Let's see if I find some new games here or even nice people to play them with.

so i decided that if i have to use windows for work, im at least going to make it bearable. I added a tiling window manager to make it feel more like i3, status bar, a debloat script to keep windows from being.. windows.. WSL, docker, live wallpaper with wallpaper engine, custom icons, oh-my-posh for my terminal, fish for WSL, and some other small changes that escape me at the moment. its not quite linux, but its bearable enough to use as a daily driver, and i can still get my kicks from the WSL terminal.
