Hmm that's surprising. Used #dvgrab to capture some footage from DV Tapes. There are several formats to choose from. One of them is QuickTime mov. You would've thought #Apple could handle that. But apparently the codec DV/DVCPRO is unsupported by both QuickTime and #FinalCutPro. #Compressor can't handle it either.

The raw format is being handled just fine.

This is not the first time I find Apple stuff to have zero support for some codecs. Yet #HandBrake and #ShutterEncoder do.

I've always had the best of experiences with them.

Wether it is their

• Bass Guitars

I have always had a great matrix of experiences. I love their craftmanship and dedication towards the work, from the simple recorder which is designed and produced with the same care as their hand crafted brass string and other acoustical instruments, to their robotically produced electrical instruments

Same is my experience with Yamaha PA and studio audio equipment. Regardless of the age of the design, the equipment is sturdy, can withstand electrical fluctuations, works proper for years, and is maintainable, provided you follow the service manuals to the letter

This is one example of a mixing console, a sample of PA equipment I have from Yamaha. I use it for radio, live sound, TV studio and many other purposes
