Italian News by RSSIl Tempo: Garlasco, i genitori di chiara Poggi: "Contorni opachi nelle indagini"
“Prendiamo atto del fatto che la Procura di Pavia abbia ritenuto di sottoporre a intercettazioni i familiari della vittima, la cui incredibile colpa sembra essere stata quella di aver partecipato attivamente a un processo penale conclusosi con la condanna irrevocabile di Alberto Stasi consacrata dalla Suprema Corte di Cassazione e di non credere in alcun modo al coinvolgimento di Andrea Sempio”. È quanto si legge in una nota diffusa dai genitori e il fratello di Chiara Poggi tramite i loro legali, gli avvocati Gian Luigi Tizzoni e Francesco Compagna, in relazione alle indiscrezioni investigative trapelate in queste ore dall'inchiesta condotta dalla Procura di Pavia a carico di Andrea Sempio. Nel comunicato, i familiari della vittima chiariscono di non aver mai commentato gli sviluppi legati alla nuova indagine sul delitto di Garlasco per “rispetto istituzionale”.
“Abbiamo sempre evitato di esternare pubblicamente le ragioni per le quali la famiglia Poggi ritiene che le attività di indagine compiute dai Carabinieri della Stazione di Milano Moscova siano state gravemente condizionate da contesti poco trasparenti e da impropri collegamenti con specifici ambienti "giornalistici", - prosegue la nota - concentrando la nostra attenzione sui dati oggettivi riguardanti l'omicidio di Chiara e interloquendo invece formalmente con la Procura Generale di Milano per i profili di sua competenza”.
Infine la chiosa degli avvocati: “Anche a fronte delle continue aggressioni che si susseguono da oltre un anno nei loro confronti e della loro enorme amarezza per quanto sta avvenendo, - sottolineano Compagna e Tizzoni - Giuseppe, Rita e Marco (i familiari di Chiara ndr) intendono continuare a mantenere un atteggiamento rispettoso, evitando qualsiasi esternazione sul tema, nella convinzione che in uno Stato di diritto gli accertamenti processuali debbano avvenire nelle sedi a ciò preposte e nel rigoroso rispetto delle norme di riferimento”.

We acknowledge that the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided to authorize wiretaps of the victim’s family members, whose incredible fault appears to have been that of actively participating in a criminal trial that concluded with the irreversible condemnation of Alberto Stasi, consecrated by the Supreme Court of Cassation, and of not believing in any way in the involvement of Andrea Sempio. This is what reads in a statement released by the parents and brother of Chiara Poggi through their lawyers, Gian Luigi Tizzoni and Francesco Compagna, in relation to the leaked investigative rumors from the investigation conducted by the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office against Andrea Sempio. In the statement, the victim’s family clarifies that they have never commented on the developments related to the new investigation into the murder of Garlasco for “respect for institutional norms.”
“We have always avoided expressing publicly the reasons why the Poggi family believes that the investigative activities carried out by the Carabinieri of the Milano Moscova Station have been severely conditioned by opaque contexts and improper connections with specific “journalistic” environments,” the statement continues – “concentrating our attention on the objective data regarding the murder of Chiara and formally engaging with the Attorney General’s Office of Milan for its areas of competence.”
Finally, the lawyers’ concluding remarks: “Even in the face of the continuous attacks that have been occurring for over a year against them and their immense bitterness regarding what is happening, – Compagna and Tizzoni emphasize – Giuseppe, Rita and Marco (the family members of Chiara, ed.) intend to continue to maintain a respectful attitude, avoiding any statements on the subject, in the belief that in a state of law, judicial investigations must take place in the appropriate bodies and in strict compliance with the relevant regulations.”
