Sunshine on the ride home

Early spring cleaning
High time for some TLC, to get rid of all that accumulated salt and dirt on all the components.
A quick spray down with Dr. Whack F100 bicycle cleaner help by a bit of water from the Aqua2go GD86 Pro pressure cleaner.
This is only to soften the caked on dirt and grime. The actual cleaning is manual work. First a thorough brushing with a dish washing brush.
The dirt can move between the stiff bristles and that way it won't scratch the surfaces. Then I rinse off all that lose muck and only then use the sponges to wipe off the remaining fine layer. A final hose down and a quick shake to remove the majority of the water. With a towel I wipe off the rest of the water and apply fresh lubrication where needed.

Spring is around the bend
Snowdrops are blooming, temperatures are mostly above freezing and we have ants in our kitchen again. Oh and I saw a real live badger today on my commute to work. I'm telling you people, outdoor cycling season is well under way.
